Residents and natives of Buryatia
The foundation was founded in March 2022 in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine by opponents of the war in Buryatia and members of the international Buryat diaspora. The movement agitates for broad autonomy for the region and against the war, conducts anti-war actions, and provides legal support to Buryat soldiers and members of the National Guard who refuse to participate in military actions.
